Shawnee Bible Church's story began in 1967 when a group of about a dozen believers decided to form a new church in Shawnee. Land was purchased at 12921 W 61st Street for a church building in 1970 and the building as it stands today was completed in 1980. The church celebrated 50 years of ministry in the fall of 2017.
